In April, the usual traffic restrictions for trucks in Europe will change. Due to Easter festivities and public holidays, new road bans will be implemented in many countries. This article provides a list of dates when traffic restrictions for trucks will be applied in Europe.
On all weekdays (April 1–4, 7–11, 14–18, 21–25, and 28–30):
Road bans will be applied in Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. They will be in effect from midnight to 5 AM and from 10 PM to midnight.
Additional Restrictions
Apart from the usual weekday restrictions, additional traffic restrictions will apply on the following days:
On Maundy Thursday (April 17) additional traffic restrictions will apply in the following countries:
In Austria from midnight to 5 AM and from 7 AM to midnight.
In Greece from 3 PM to 10 PM.
In Luxembourg from 11:30 PM to midnight for those travelling towards Germany.
In Romania from 4 PM to 10 PM.

On Good Friday (April 18) additional traffic restrictions will apply in the following countries:
In Austria from midnight to 5 AM and from 7 AM to midnight.
In the Czech Republic from 1 PM to 10 PM.
In Greece from 6 AM to 4 PM.
In Croatia from 3 PM to 11 PM.
In Luxembourg from midnight to 9:45 PM travelling towards Germany.
In Romania from 6 AM to 10 PM.
In Italy and Slovenia from 2 PM to 10 PM.
In Switzerland throughout the whole day.
In Germany, Hungary, and Slovakia from midnight to 10 PM.
On Easter Monday (April 21) additional traffic restrictions will apply in the following countries:

In Greece from 12 PM to 10 PM.
In Italy from 9 AM to 10 PM.

On April 22, additional traffic restrictions will apply in Greece from 11 AM to 11 PM and in Italy from 9 AM to 2 PM.
On April 25, additional restrictions will apply in Italy from 9 AM to 10 PM.

In Luxembourg from 9:30 PM to midnight for those travelling towards France and from 11:30 PM to midnight for those travelling towards Germany.
In Liechtenstein and Switzerland from midnight to 5 AM and from 10 PM to midnight.
In France from 10 PM to midnight.
