In February and March of this year, maintenance and renovation works will be carried out in the Liefkenshoek Tunnel in Belgium, which connects the cities of Antwerp and Beveren. Due to this, traffic will be restricted on certain days – only one lane will be open in each direction, and vehicles wider than 3.5 meters will be prohibited from entering the tunnel.
These restrictions will apply on the following dates:
From 9:00 PM on February 7 to 5:00 AM on February 10.
From 9:00 PM on February 21 to 5:00 AM on February 24.
From 9:00 PM on February 28 to 5:00 AM on March 3.
Additional maintenance work will be carried out on Thursdays and Fridays. On Thursdays, the tunnel shaft towards Beveren will be closed, and on Fridays, the tunnel shaft towards the city of Stabroek will be closed.
Additionally, traffic will be prohibited between the Tijsman and Beveren tunnels from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on the following dates:
