With the start of spring, traffic restrictions for trucks in Europe are changing. In some countries, the number of usual road bans will increase. This article provides a list of dates when traffic restrictions for trucks will be in place across Europe.
On all weekdays (March 3-7, 10-14, 17-21, and 24-28):
Road restrictions will apply in Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. They will be in effect from midnight to 5 AM and from 10 PM to midnight. On all Fridays, additional restrictions in Austria will apply from 1 PM to 7 PM.
On Saturdays (March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29):
Road restrictions will apply in the following countries:
In Austria from midnight to 5 AM and from 7 AM to midnight.
In Luxembourg from 9:30 PM to midnight towards France and from 11:30 PM to midnight towards Germany.
In Liechtenstein and Switzerland from midnight to 5 AM and from 10 PM to midnight.
In France from 10 PM to midnight. Additional restrictions will apply on March 1 and 8 from 7 AM to 6 PM.
In Hungary from 10 PM to midnight.
In Italy from 7 AM to 10 PM.
On Sundays (March 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30):
Road restrictions will apply in the following countries:
In Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland throughout the whole day.
In France, Slovakia, Hungary, and Germany from midnight to 10 PM.
In the Czech Republic from 1 PM to 10 PM.
In Italy from 9 AM to 10 PM.
In Slovenia from 8 AM to 10 PM.
In Luxembourg from midnight to 9:45 PM.
