Poland increases road tolls for trucks

From January 1, road toll rates for vehicles weighing more than 3.5 tons have increased in Poland. The rates have risen by 40-42%, and from February, more roads will be subject to tolls.

The electronic road toll rates applicable from the beginning of January are shown in the table below (the rate is shown as PLN/km). The rates are applied according to the weight of the vehicle, the EURO category, and the type of road being used (i.e., expressways and motorways (A and S roads) or main national roads (GP and G roads)).

From February 1, the network of toll roads will be expanded by an additional 645 km of new roads, which will also be subject to road tolls from now on. The network of toll roads will reach 5,869 km in February.
