On the weekend of October 24-27, drivers travelling in the Rotterdam area will face new traffic restrictions. Due to road works, the A13 and A16 motorways and the N209 and N3 roads will be closed.

On the A16 motorway, the section between Ridderkerk and Terbregseplein in the direction of the A20 motorway will be closed. Exits and entrances no. 24, 25, and 26 will be closed. On the A13 motorway, the section between Kleinpolderplein and the Delft-Zuid exit in the direction of Delft will be closed. Entrances 12 and 11 and exit 10 will be closed. Some sections of the N209 and N3 roads will also be closed during the weekend.

Drivers travelling on the A16 motorway will be diverted to the A15, A4, and A20 motorways, while those travelling on the A13 motorway will be diverted to the A15 and A4 motorways. Drivers on the N209 will be diverted to the N472 and N470, while those on the N3 will be diverted to the A15 and A16. Drivers are warned that these changes may add an additional hour to their journey time.
