Traffic restrictions on France's A6 and A126 highways

As every year, France is currently carrying out infrastructure maintenance work on the national road network. This summer, road reconstruction and improvement works are underway on the roads in Paris and the surrounding areas. The A6 and A126 highways are currently heavily affected — drivers are unable to use them.

From July 15 at 11:00 AM to August 1 at 1:00 PM, the A6 and A126 highways in France will be closed. To avoid traffic jams, drivers will be allowed to use them only during weekends.

For those wishing to reach Évry-Courcouronnes and Lyon without using the A6 highway, it is recommended to take the A10 highway towards Les Ulis and drive along the N104 road, where you can eventually rejoin the remaining part of the A6 highway. Drivers can also take the A10 highway toward Paris, exit onto the A6b road, then take the A86 road. While heading toward Versailles, they should re-enter the A6b. In this way, drivers can also reconnect with the A10 highway and the N104 road.

The second phase of this reconstruction work will also take place in the autumn from October 20 to November 2. However, during that time, highway traffic will also be prohibited on weekends.
