With the start of February, traffic restrictions are changing in Europe. In some countries additional weekend bans are being implemented, while in others the length of weekday bans is being prolonged. In this article we provide a list of dates on which traffic restrictions for trucks will apply in Europe.
On all weekdays (February 3 – 7, 10 – 14, 17 – 21 and 24 – 28)
Traffic restrictions will apply in Austria, Switzerland, and Liechtenstein. They will apply from midnight to 5 a.m. and from 10 p.m. to midnight. On all Fridays additional bans will apply in Austria from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
On Saturdays (February 1, 8, 15 and 22)
Road restrictions will apply in these countries:
In Austria from midnight to 5 a.m. and from 7 a.m. to midnight.
In Luxembourg from 9.30 p.m. to midnight for those travelling towards France and from 11.30 p.m. to midnight for those travelling towards Germany.
In Liechtenstein and Switzerland from midnight to 5 a.m. and from 10 p.m. to midnight.
In France from 10 p.m. to midnight. On February 8, 15 and 22 additional bans will apply from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
On February 8 additional bans will apply in Slovenia from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Sundays (February 2, 9, 16 and 23)
Road restrictions will apply in these countries:
In Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland throughout the whole day.
In France, Slovakia, Hungary, and Germany from midnight to 10 p.m.
In the Czech Republic from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
In Italy from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In Slovenia from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
In Luxembourg from midnight to 9.45 p.m.
